WE ARE “THE MOUNT”
With your help,
We aim to strengthen our support network within our school community and beyond.
In order to build stronger school-parent relationships, it's imperative for efforts to be made by all. This collaboration is paramount, leading to a better understanding of student needs, parent expectations and more effective and respectful communication across the board.
Promoting these ties between parents, guardians, students and educators alike, no doubt creates a more cohesive and engaged school, regarded by the community.

VOLUNTEER
Now is the time to LEAD BY EXAMPLE!
Show our kids what community involvement means (and looks like) by making a commitment of participation in school activities by sharing your talents and skills. Simply stated, family volunteers significantly enhance the educational experience for our collective children.
We welcome you to join us!
Classroom Parents
Any parent willing to do projects in the classroom or assist with tasks at home that supports and helps a teacher are welcomed and appreciated!
Each classroom may have multiple classroom parents to assist with classroom needs. The idea is to create a pool of parents each teacher can use as a resource to reach out to as needed.
If you would like to work as a classroom parent, your name will be submitted to the teacher and the teacher will contact you directly about their needs. Some items teachers may need assistance with may include, but not limited to, prep projects, field day and field trip chaperons, small group activities in the classroom, holiday events, etc. At home tasks are great for working parents who can’t necessarily come throughout the day but still want to be involved!
Cafe Support
On occasion, we need additional support in the café during the lunchtime hours of 10:30am - 1:30pm to support the supervising teachers, assist littles with the lunch process or sub as a “lunch lady” or “lunch man” when our main person is unavailable.
Community Service Projects
Throughout the year, we may need help with more maintenance-type tasks, cleaning/upkeep, and sprucing-up projects such as painting of the classroom doors, mural painting, landscaping, playground spruce-up, etc.
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Lisa Pavlopoulos with your availability and contact information.
