Dear Families:
Happy Palm Sunday! As we begin Holy Week, I remind you that our Easter Prayer Service is this Wednesday, April 5 at 8:30am for Grades K-6. All parents are invited. We will also be Live-Streaming this on the Friends FaceBook page as well as recording it for later viewing. Students should be in dress uniform. Our Preschool and PreK will be celebrating on April 6.
UPCOMING ACTIVITIES:
-April 7th and 10th NO SCHOOL- Good Friday and Easter Monday.
-April 22 is Earth Day and the Room Parents have some great ideas for our community to come together and “spruce up” our building and surrounding exterior. Parents, students and staff are invited to pitch in and help. Staff and students have some great ideas for improvements. A Sign-Up Genius will be going out soon.
-April 10-24 is our “Read-A-Thon” Student account log on went home by teachers. It’s a fun way to encourage reading minutes and win some fun prizes! www.read-a-thon.com Find the teacher

-Fair Share projects begin in another week. Each teacher will be sending their date to invite you to attend.
-We have some upcoming Field trips and special visitors coming to school.
-April 12, Safety Officer Dan Hayden, who is also one of our parents, will be spending time with Gr 3-6 to discuss Internet Safety and a few other timely topics relevant to this age group.
-We will be adding to the website the Sign-up Genius for Father/Daughter Dance May 12@ 6:30pm and Mother’s Day Brunch morning of May 12 @ 11:00am.
We have been extremely busy touring new families at our school and our enrollment continues to climb for Fall 2023. Please let me know if you have any special requests or questions. Not dealing with me directly will delay your request. kirkt@mtstmary.org
