Dear Families:
What a great week we had at school- even though it was short- we packed it all in! From Leprechaun traps to fun parties- the school was paved with green and gold! Our morning announcements on Friday concluded with the famous Irish prayer……May the road rise up to meet you. Very special. Thank you to parents who assisted in a variety of way! If you caught the parade in Southie today or watched it live-streamed on TV, everyone was Irish today!
I continue to be busy with tours of our school. Often, families will mention a referral from current families and we thank you for your current support of our programs. I was contacted by a school looking to place their current Kindergarten into a Catholic School in Grade I so we are having a special Open House for them on March 27. We turned in our old copiers and were able to secure 4 new copiers for our staff- brand new and less money. Great deal!!!!
Calendar highlights:
- Room Parent Meeting March 28 @ 8:30
- Next Chess Wizard session starting March 22
- No School this Friday. This has been on the calendar and it’s a Professional Development Day for all Staff.
- Summer Camp is running June 26-August 18. Watch for forms to be on the website and going home in back packs as well by 3.23. Flexible options for parents.
- Walk-A-Thon is May 3 with some interesting ways to share coming out soon on our website by the Room Parents.
- Father/Daughter Dance is May 12 @ 6:30
- Mother’s Day Brunch at 11:00 on May 12.
- An event for Moms and Sons is being developed….
- Donuts with Dads in June (stay tuned)
