What a beautiful Saturday! We could have used a little sun for our Fun Run yesterday but it was still a great time!
We have a very busy week ahead. Our Mother’s Day Brunch is this Friday at 10:00am. This is just for moms!
Friday night the 12th is our Father/Daughter Dance for our girls enrolled at Mt St Mary.
This is Teacher Appreciation Week and we thank all of the Room Parents who are leading the charge with celebrating our staff. Thank you to all those who have contributed! Gr 1 and 2 parents are sponsoring a Breakfast for all staff Monday!
We just concluded a Read-A-Thon and students had a great time calculating the time they spent reading for leisure. WE work hard at fostering literacy and guiding even our youngest students to see the connection to fluent reading and successful classroom experiences.
We will be administering the achievement test, TerraNova, in K-6 on May 15, 16 and 17th. Teachers will be spreading the test out so students can do their best and not become stressed about it. It is a snapshot for us to have so teachers can see strengths and challenges to work with next year. We will send them in for scoring and send home the results to parents before we break for the summer.
We will be crowning the statue of Mary on May 24 at 8:15am and pray a decade of the rosary together.
Our Grade 6 Graduation is June 13 at 6:00pm in the Concert Hall on the third floor.
Kindergarten Graduation is June 15 at 1:00pm
Our last day of school is June 16 at 11:00am.
June 21 we will have Popsicles on the playground for newly accepted students.
Summer Camp
Running June 26-August 18.
